Ii. Introduction to the recruitment platform
2020 x-lab (2020 x-lab) is an innovative international basic research platform initiated by the Shanghai institute of Microsystems of the Chinese academy of sciences. The platform is dedicated to promoting the institute’s cutting-edge basic research and providing an independent and relaxed research environment for young researchers.
Focusing on innovation and the future, the laboratory pays attention to the training of young researchers and the research and development of disruptive technologies. We welcome and encourage outstanding young researchers with professional knowledge and ambition to join us with the spirit of fair, independent and open innovation.
The laboratory will offer young researchers a generous personal package (annual salary of 400,000 yuan)
3. Biology – information crossover technology, including but not limited to integrated biological semiconductor, synthetic bioelectronics, organ-like chip, human-computer interaction and brain-computer fusion, DNA sequencing, storage and calculation, etc.;
4. Other disruptive technologies, including high-risk, high-yielding and original cutting-edge basic technologies that may contribute to China’s future development, communication technology, as well as computing, design, simulation and other much-needed soft science and technology.

Iii. Recruitment requirements
2020 frontier laboratory invites outstanding young researchers in the above research fields to apply for the position of young researcher:
We expect applicants to have a PhD in the relevant field and to have high quality results, excellent scientific literacy and outstanding scientific vision in the above fields. In addition to professional competence, we also attach great importance to applicants’ strong interest and research spirit in their professional fields, as well as their good teamwork ability. The position is mainly open to young researchers and applicants should not be over 31 years of age (34 years for exceptional applicants).
